Eclipsing the sun, a large rocky mass hovers over your head and that of your traveling companions. It´s a skrock, a naturally floating rock, like many others that exist around Glitch Mundi. Despite being rich in Arcanium, they are not explored as mining sites because the magical ore contained in them is highly mixed with magnetite and other impurities – which are precisely the components that cause the side effect of making them float.
Most of them are stationary, although there are some wandering skrocks, although they are rarer. It´s very difficult to move a stationary skrock or make it fall from the sky. Only a 9th level magical effect would be able to do so temporarily – and the skrock would regain its buoyancy in the next round. If it is reduced to less than a quarter of it original size, it will lose its innate magical capabilities. However, it´s possible to sculpt them, as long as their minimum mass remains buoyant. The Floti consider them sacred and carve them into ornate landing spots where they meditate and connect with nature.
