Floti
Description
Floti are small, compact humanoids covered in short, soft fur, similar to sugar gliders. Their fur is spotted and varies from blue to purple(Floti of Kau Kiek where the bark of the trees are of these colors), red to brown(Floti of the Moving Sea), from gray to black(Floti of the caves) or white(Floti of the snow). They are around 90 centimeters tall and weigh around 20 kg. A membrane of skin connects their wrists to their waist and is used by these little ones to glide from a high point to a lower one. Due to this physiological characteristic, Floti do not wear any clothing on their torso and usually move with little load so as not to hinder their ability to move aerially. Their upper limbs are longer and more robust than their legs.
They live in tribal communities where everyone works for the collective, collecting food, water and resources that everyone can enjoy. Their short lifespan makes Floti live intensely. They talk a lot and very quickly, they make friends quickly, they fall out and forgive quickly, because there is no time to waste in a life that passes in the blink of an eye. Their life expectancy is 50 years. A Floti who reaches 60 years of age is considered a venerable elder and will be extremely respected among his people. Their ancestral home is Kau Kiek, the forest of tall trees that stretch a kilometer above the ground.

Glide (ext): a Floti is able to move by gliding from a higher point to a lower point with a movement action. To do this, he must be wearing no armor or light armor custom-made to allow the action of his membranes and cannot be carrying medium or heavy load. For every 1.5m of horizontal distance traveled, the Floti will lose 1.5m of altitude and is unable to maneuver to climb. It is also not possible to change direction in mid-air unless the player acquires the talent for doing so. When gliding, he can travel a maximum of twice the distance of his base movement from the jumping point to the landing point. If at the end of the movement there is no point to land, the Floti loses control of its flight and falls, suffering fall damage when it hits the ground.
Escape Reflex (Ex): A Floti has +2 on Reflex saves even if surprised.
Languages: A Floti is able to speak the common language and its native language, Tii Kik, which consists of small, high-pitched squeaks and clicks with its front teeth. Characters of another species who wish to learn Tii Kik must spend twice as many normal skill points to do so, due to the difficulty of correctly reproducing the sounds characteristic of Floti physiology.

Religion
The Floti have a great respect for nature that reaches a degree of spiritual devotion, although they do not have a formal religion in relation to it. A Floti who becomes a nature domain cleric or druid simply feels that he and nature are one and that nature is channeled through him, rather than feeling blessed by a specific deity.
Relationships with other species
The Floti have a simple lifestyle in communion with nature and find the ways of life of the so-called “civilization” strange, which imposes countless rules called “laws” that their own creators violate at all times. Their moral judgment derives from the consensus of their community and the word of their elders, whose wisdom is listened to and followed with enormous respect. A Floti that has been raised in a human city, on the other hand, may present a diametrically opposite personality, understanding that the larger species use their superior strength to oppress them and will therefore use its natural capabilities to respond in kind, deceiving and cheating when perceive themselves as victims of threats and abuse.
Humans: create complicated rules for life in society, which they often break themselves and this sounds crazy to the Floti. Humans are deceitful and greedy, sometimes violent, and should be watched with caution. If a Floti meets a human who proves to be truly good and sincere, they may quickly become attached to them as a great friend.
Magibrutes: they are dangerous and corpulent, often rude and threatening. Floti will avoid them whenever possible out of self-preservation. When this is not possible, they will be diplomatic and succinct in communication, preventing anything said from arousing their anger. If a magibrute shows respect for a Floti and that it does not represent a threat to the little one, the initial barrier of fear can be overcome and a true friendship can be established. On Floti’s part, it’s because they make friends quickly and on Magibrute’s part, it’s because they feel truly welcomed in a world where everyone fears and rejects them.
Tarkal: Aaah!!! A giant spider! SHE’S SPEAKING IN MY HEAD! Wow, she’s smart. Phew, she doesn’t mean to hurt me. She talks very difficult, but she made me very curious, I think I’ll go with her. Can I be friends with a giant spider?
Phaemon: Wow! How beautiful you are! Are you a fairy?! You look like a fairy. I would like to be friends with a fairy, I almost have wings like a fairy, I think you will like me, I already like you!
Sandon: a talking rag doll! Cool! A bit obsessive, but it’s still really cool.
Floti Adventurers
The life of a Floti is short and intense. Young Floti adults can be overcome with what is called among their people “the wonder”, a fervent desire to explore the world and see distant lands. It is very difficult to dissuade those who enter this emotional state, even more so when they are fed by the stories of older Flotis who went on their own journeys of wonder as young people, witnessed wonderful things, and returned to feed the imaginations of the new generations with their extraordinary stories.
