Phaemon
Description
During the “regenesis” of the dying universe and the new existence that was being born, there was an overlap between the extraplanar domains of Phaeria, where fairies lived, and the Daemonorium, home of demons. An adverse event then occurred: some lesser demons, accustomed only to the suffering and oppression of demonic lords, glimpsed the grace of the fairies. These in turn were corrupted by demonic lust. What seemed impossible then occurred: these demons were able to conceive true love, which caused horror among the creatures residing in the abyss. While the fairies who gave in to diabolical seduction fell from faerie grace.
So that they would not be destroyed, both the demons and the fairies that participated in this fateful episode migrated to the planet of If. Their offspring is today known as Phaemon, an amalgam of magical fairy grace and demonic malice.
Physical description:
Phaemon are very tall and slender humanoids, athletic, curvaceous and graceful. Their physiognomy varies between that of a deer and a goat, with a single spiral and colorful horn in the middle of their forehead. Their coat varies from short to long, and their colors can be as variable and random as possible. Their feet have delicate hooves like a deer. Their eyes are large and bright, and can come in a myriad of color combinations. Their hands have four fingers. No matter how charming a Phaemon’s appearance may be, it always presents some demonic characteristic, whether in the form of small, prominent fangs, an excessively malicious look (regardless of the character’s alignment), a voice that always sounds seductive or playful, or even wings of vestigial bats (which cannot fly).

Phaemon Society
Phaemon live to enjoy the delights of life and enjoy parties, arts and bohemia in hidden woods and enchanted villages in the most hidden places possible. They also like to make fun of others, play pranks and cause confusion wherever they go. Although they hide the location of their homes, they often visit human settlements to have fun, break hearts or bring joy to a suffering people. They are frivolous, unpredictable and mocking beings by nature. They will work the minimum necessary just for their subsistence and will value any solution or technology that can allow them to minimize the time spent on obligations.
Humans who live by the maxim “you only live once” will find Phaemon a great adventure partner. Those who value order and serenity will consider themselves cursed by the Aspects for having to live with one of them. Those who consider them merely sources of disorder and malice will be surprised to witness a Phaemon displaying great empathy for a total stranger, or comforting a wounded soldier with a beautiful song from his homeland sung with true emotion. It’s difficult to judge them. They can be playful and immature one moment and altruistic and haughty the next.
Either way, it is possible to summarize a Phaemon as “intense”: they cry a lot, laugh a lot, fight a lot and love a lot. Sometimes all of this at the same time.
Religion
Fruit of a dubious metaphysical heritage, Phaemon normally opt for alternative paths: either they worship the Aspect of nature or magic. Some simply ignore spiritual issues and live in search of self-satisfaction. An evil Phaemon may worship the Aspect of Evil or Destruction.
Relationships with other species:
Floti: what magnificent little creatures! They are always agitated and talkative, I need to have one of those for company. No, FIVE of them. Or ten. You can’t be bored with a Floti by your side.
Magibrutes: rude and taciturn. Great companions for funerals, terrible for parties. But they can be good to make fun of and see them angry. Or have them as friends when other people who were victims of my pranks came to demand satisfaction. They must put on a great show in tavern fights.
Humans: they can be boring or fun, authoritarian or disorderly: that is, unpredictable. Unpredictable is good, not boring. You can always find fun and confusion where there are humans.
Tarkal: No way! A telepathic arachnid, how splendid! Oh, they’re boring and obsessed with logic and order, I take that back. There is no more irritating and boring creature on the face of If. Please, someone cut off my head, but don’t let this spider-shaped old aunt direct her words at me.
Sandon: A splendid, talking magic ragdoll! I’ll always have one of these around, I’m sure they can be good partners to help me play pranks and give good scares!
Phaemon Adventurers
Life is a party! The question is: why shouldn’t a Phaemon adventure? There are countless taverns to drink until you drop, audiences who haven’t heard your songs yet and people to flirt with. You don’t even need a travel backpack, improvising is living!
